My name is Marie Lovèn Hedbom. I represent S*Fratello´s Cattery.
 I live on the Island Rådmansö in Norrtälje, Sweden with my family, cats, horse and
 two dogs. I have been a cat breeder of Maine Coon, also known as American Forest Cat  for 14 years.
Some of my breeding cat’s I breed from are imported from
 Finland, Norway and England.
 The cattery’s are Escapes Cattery in Finland, Dotcom Cattery in England, (now in Canada),
Lynxelot Cattery in England, Stuetigerens Cattery in Norway
and Løve Hulen Cattery in Denmark.
Stuetigerens Six Pack Annie P, a beautiful Polydactyl Maine Coon,
 came to Sweden 2009 and will have some litters with Poly kittens
when she is grown up.

My whole life I have been living with cats and dogs. In 1984 I bought my first Persian cat.
He was a big black handsome male called Fratello.
I started breeding Chinchilla Persians in 1986
with helps from older and experienced Persian breeders.
This year 090127 I have been a breeder for 23 years.
15 years ago my first Maine Coon Cat Vicky moved
home to me and since then I fell in love with Maine Coon Cats.

Cat breeding is just a hobby.
Our cats live with us in the house as family members and they
have a yard outside where they can have some fresh air.
The kittens we are breeding are growing up very close to us in the family.
They start their life in our bedroom and kitchen.

The Maine Coon Cat is known as the gentle giant of cats
and their placid nature makes them a wonderful pet.
My goal is to breed cats with good Maine Coon type and
healthy cats with lovely temperament.
 

All my breeding cats are tested for the CMYBPC3 mutation,
the only known HCM mutation to day.
When a kitten moves to a new home it will be at least 12 weeks old, vaccinated against Panleucopenia ant cat flu, registered in TICA, and with health guaranteed from our veterinary less than 7 days before delivering.

S*Fratello´s Cattery has a license to breed cats from the authority.
The cattery is inspected and approved by the inspector from
Swedish Animal Welfare Agency 2005 and 2009.

This is a new law in Sweden  2005-01-01
